Riley Ebel

Riley grew up skiing, boating, and climbing in the mountains of Colorado then completed a BA in Geology and Environmental Science from Middlebury College in Vermont. What started as one summer of raft guiding in Alaska turned into seven years (and counting), which launched her outdoor guiding and geology career, starting with Piton Exploration in 2022. Her work has taken her throughout Alaska as well as Nevada and includes geophysical surveying, soil sampling, geological mapping, and core logging. When not skiing, kayaking, or biking, Riley can usually be found staring into a bonfire somewhere in the Chugach.
