Nate Smith

Nate joined Piton Exploration in 2021, coming with a diverse skillset that ranges from economics to wildland firefighting to software development. Nate enjoys the variability of Piton projects and likes learning about the geologic processes that created the samples he collects. When not in the field, Nate applies his technical background toward other problems such as GIS mapping, lands research, communications equipment, and administrating Piton’s IT infrastructure. Outside of work, Nate likes to run and ski around Anchorage.
