Andrew Forward

As a lifelong Alaskan raised in Eagle River, Andrew’s appreciation for the expansive wilderness and rugged mountains began early on. Graduating from University of Alaska Anchorage with a BS in Geological Sciences, Andrew has accumulated 13 years experience working throughout Alaska, primarily in the mineral exploration industry including 3 years working at Red Dog Mine and starting with Piton in 2022. His responsibilities have included prospecting, geologic mapping, surface sampling, geotechnical and geological logging, geophysical surveys, drill targeting, surveying, reclamation and compilation of annual, technical and budget reports. Andrew currently lives in Girdwood, Alaska and can be found backcountry snowboarding, snowmachining, hunting, fishing, mountain biking, mountaineering or flying his plane and speedwing.
